in Whangarei, New Zealand. There are a range of tours available at the
park which bring you up
close with some of the world's most endangered species of big cats
including White Lions and Royal White Tigers.
The animals at the Zion's park include Barbary and white lions, Royal White and
orange Bengal tigers, Serval cats, a black leopard, deer and a
baboon. Zion are continuously
developing the sanctuary to provide large natural habitats for all the
animals.

Zion Wildlife Gardens Tours include:
Daily Guided Walks - An
expert guide will take you on a tour around the park to meet the animals that you
know and love from The Lion Man Series. You will see tigers, lions and
other animals up close on this intimate, informative tour. Duration: 60
mins. Guided walking tours run at 9.30am, 11am, 12.30pm, 2pm and 3.30pm
each day.
Cheetah Chat Experience - In
addition to a guided tour spend 15mins interacting with 2 cheetahs,
including entering the enclosure with a handler and feeding the animals.
The Works Tour -
Shadow one of the keepers as he feeds the cheetahs and a Tiger. Duration:
2 hours. At 2pm on feeding out days only. Prior bookings essential.
Behind the Scenes
Experience - Spend the day interacting with the Zion staff and big
cats, including morning tea with the cheetahs. 9am - 4.30pm. Maximum 4
people. Over 16 years only. Prior bookings essential.

least a week in advance for the specialist tours and we recommend that you
reconfirm your booking by phone
at least 1 day prior to arrival at the park.
Lupton Lodge is only 20 minutes drive from Zion Wildlife Gardens. We have taken
the guided tour ourselves and can thoroughly recommend the experience. We
have had many previous guests take all of the above tours and the feedback
